Delete your data
Last updated 14 September 2026
Two things first
- Calando has no account. There is no sign-up and no sign-in, so there is no "delete my account" to do.
- We do not hold your records or photos. They are not on our servers, which means you delete them yourself and we could not delete them for you even if you asked.
1. Records, photos and backups — on your device
Everything you write in the app — injections, weight, meals, symptoms, photos — is in this app's private storage on your phone. We keep no copy.
- Erase everything: in the app, Settings → Erase all data. Records, photos and settings go together.
- Delete the app: removing it from the device removes them too.
This cannot be undone. There is no copy for us to restore from. Export a backup from Settings first if there is anything you want to keep.
If iCloud Backup or Google backup is on, the operating system may have included the app's data in your own account's backup. Apple or Google keeps that copy under your account, not us, so delete it from your device's backup settings.
ZIP and CSV files you exported yourself stay wherever you put them — Files, a cloud drive, an email. Those copies are yours to delete.
2. Usage statistics and crash reports — ask us and we delete them
Usage statistics and crash reports go to Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) so we can improve the app. They carry no injections, weights, meals, symptoms or photos.
They are tied to a random per-install identifier rather than to an account. That identifier is how we find which data to delete.
How to ask
- In the app, go to Settings → Usage statistics.
- Copy the Analytics ID with the Copy button.
- Send it to support@slowhare.ai.
Without that identifier we cannot tell which data is yours. We cannot look you up by name or email, because we never received either.
How long: we act on the request and confirm within 30 days.
To stop the collection rather than delete what exists, turn off Send usage statistics in Settings. That stops crash reporting too, and every feature keeps working.
Statistics already collected are deleted automatically after at most 14 months, request or no request. Crash reports are deleted automatically after 90 days.
3. Device check (Android) — deleted after a year
So that the free period does not start again after a reinstall, on Android we keep a one-way hash of the device ID and the times of first and last use, in Google Firebase. It carries no health records. It is deleted automatically one year after last use, and deleting the app does not remove it sooner. There is nothing to combine it with, so we cannot tell whose it is and cannot find and delete a particular person's value on request. An iPhone sends nothing.
4. Subscription records — ask the store
If you took out a subscription, Apple and Google hold its purchase and renewal records. We never receive card or payment details and have no power to delete those records. Ask the store directly.
- Apple — privacy.apple.com
- Google — your Google Account
5. Photo tools on Android
On Android, Google ML Kit may send technical usage and diagnostic information to Google. It carries no photo pixels, no analysis results and no health records. You can ask for this to be deleted the same way as section 2.
